This position serves as a key role providing process engineering expertise in support of the development and design of production lines/equipments, optimization of old equipment/processes, and debottlenecking projects and enable safe and efficient production of low-cost, high-quality products.
What You’ll Be DoingNew production line installation and Set up
Improve, characterize and develop manufacturing processes for existing products as well as New Product Introductions (NPI)
Drive and coordinate LEAN initiative, and engage Six Sigma tools for process improvements
Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow, space requirements, and equipment layout
Initiate and support the procurement and introduction of necessary fixtures and tooling for manufacturing NPIs and for process improvements
Participate in EHS related actions, to improve safety on the shop floor
Lead and effectively interface with manufacturing and other support teams to complete projects to meet EHS, production, quality, and cost savings goals within schedule and budget
Interface with vendors and internal contacts in an effective manner to ensure that the technical and EHS perspective is properly conveyed
Assure that all engineering designs and technical data are complete and accurately documented to provide an technical / historical base for future reference and to meet customer / end user requirements
Support the preparation of product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
Completes design and development projects by training and guiding technicians / manufacturing associates
Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, electrical, mechatronics or automation or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in power semiconductor manufacturing environment working with production processes and equipment.Advanced experience in die bonding, soldering, wire bonding, X-ray measurement is preferred.
Excellent organizational and planning abilities, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Experienced at Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, or similar.
Strong oral and written communication skills in both English and Chinese.
Understand ISO9000 and ISO14000 system, familiar with SPC, PFMEA,CP and other tools are preferred.
