Job Description
An Insight Global client in the Houston area is looking for a Chemical Process Engineer to join their team in a full time position. This person will be responsible for supporting plant operations and capital projects for the company's plant locations in Midland and Tyler, TX. This person will serve as the technical bridge between research and development and plant operations, ultimately, bringing a chemical engineering perspective to optimize and implement new processes. Additionally the ideal candidate will lead and manage capital projects ranging from $3-5M in budget. On a day to day basis, this person will provide chemical engineering expertise to support reactor design, flow rates, piping, and blending operations for the plants. Lastly, this opportunity will be onsite five days a week with an estimated 30% travel required to Midland and Tyler, TX.

Skills and Requirements
5+ years of experience in Chemical Engineering and processes
5+ years of experience working in a Manufacturing background
Extensive experience with capital project management and plant-scale chemical processes
Strong understanding of chemical reactions, process flows, and equipment design
Bachelor's Degree in chemical engineering Experience supporting automation and programming efforts
PE license null
