Bell is seeking a Process Engineer to support manufacturing operations at our Drive Systems Center located in Grand Prairie, Texas.
This position is responsible for designing and supporting complex production test stands that are used to qualify fully assembled production helicopter/tiltrotor transmissions through varying conditions in accordance with defined design requirements. This position serves as a technical resource to operators and maintenance staff while troubleshooting and repairing the mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic subsystems of the test stand. Finally, the employee ensures compliance with all best practices, customer, and industry specifications in support of air vehicle performance and safety requirements.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Bachelor’s Degree is required with preference in Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace Engineering.Minimum of 5 years experience in Mechanical or Aerospace Design, Controls Engineering, Manufacturing or Manufacturing Engineering.Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and ability to articulate technical data and concepts to a wide audience of individuals of different technical backgrounds.Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize a variety of activities and tasks while dealing with change.Exhibits a disciplined approach in initiating, planning, executing, controlling and closing tasks to achieve specific goals to specific success criteria.Proficiency with basic office computer software, specifically the Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience using, troubleshooting, and programming PLC, HMI, and data acquisition systems.Previous experience diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and/or hydraulic system faults or issues.Previous experience with reading/interpreting electrical schematics.Willingness to have a “hands-on” approach to solving problems.The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this job.
