Business is seeking a Chemical Process Engineer with expertise in polymer processing and fiber technologies. The role will provide troubleshooting and root cause analysis to the production facility for complex production issues impacting capacity, yield, or quality. As the final step in process development, the role will work closely with site operations and external contractors to commercialize the product.

Qualifications:

•\tBS Engineering discipline required (Mechanical Preferred)

•\t 3-5 years of manufacturing or related experience required (Preferred in a chemical process environment)

•\tExperience with chemical processing

•\tPrior experience in applications development or R&D preferred

Responsibilities:

•\tEnsure that experimental results are routinely and properly recorded.

•\tWork effectively with technicians and mechanics

•\tPrepare technical reports, data summaries, protocols and other technical and regulatory documents as needed.

•\tDevelop an understanding of the relationships between process parameters and product properties

•\tLeads or Participates in front end loading of capital projects.

•\tLead or Participates in Process Hazards Analysis (PHAs) for existing or new processes.

•\tFirst contact for advanced troubleshooting for Operations.

•\tProvide required engineering support for Root Cause Investigations (RCI’s).

•\tValidates technical solutions and documents results to drive toward a standardized Process Technology.

•\tProvides technical input for Management of Change.

•\tLead or Participate in Project Reviews.

•\tCollaborates across MT, Operations, EH&S, R&D, Contract Management etc.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $90000.00/hr.
