Job Description
The Process Engineer plays a pivotal role in supporting production, maintenance, and engineering efforts to ensure the manufacturing of high-quality products that meet customer demands. This role involves participation in task forces, cross-functional teams, and committees, as well as working shift assignments as required.
ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day production activities, providing engineering support and troubleshooting to maintain product quality and quantity.Maintain historical data by tracking daily performance and analyzing key efficiencies and parameters to assist Operations in meeting cost and production goals.Provide management support in response to process deviations, assisting operations teams in troubleshooting and resolving issues.Analyze processes to develop new operating techniques and recommend changes or capital expenditures for improved business efficiencies.Lead and support investigations related to safety and quality incidents.Coordinate and lead the training and coaching of operations personnel to enhance process design and operational techniques.Monitor process conditions and operational activities, proposing corrective actions as needed for cost-effective and efficient operations.Serve as a Certified Lean Specialist, leading internal department projects.Partner with trainers to support, develop, and execute effective training programs.Cover Department Manager or Operations Leads responsibilities during vacations and vacancies.Essential SkillsExpertise in Process Improvement and Manufacturing Engineering.Strong skills in Process Engineering and Continuous Improvement.Proficiency in Manufacturing Process Design and Mechanical Construction Management.Experience with Change Orders, Engineering, Electrical, Industrial Project Engineering, and Estimation.Minimum of 3 years experience in process engineering.Additional Skills & QualificationsCertified Lean Specialist.Experience in Capital Improvement projects.Work Environment
The role operates within a manufacturing and professional office environment, managing projects and directing personnel both internally and externally. The work involves collaboration across various teams and requires adaptability to different working conditions.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52.88 - $57.69/hr.
