Process Developer Job Details Job Location Cleveland Division - Willoughby, OH Position Type Full Time Education Level High School Travel Percentage None Job Category Operations Description Position Title: Process Developer PLANT LOCATION: Cleveland REPORTS TO: Plant Manager POSITION SUMMARY As a Process Developer, you will utilize engineering knowledge and principles to find, design and implement productivity and process improvements to job development opportunities at Paulo’s Cleveland Facility. The primary focus of this position in on the development of the Fuel Cell program, and development of other opportunities alongside the Process Engineer as needed. Perform various leadership type tasks including but not limited to training, scheduling, and continuous improvement. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES + Assist Sales, Estimating and Production in new or existing job strategies to develop the most efficient production methods. + Participate in all aspects of Production, to ensure that job development meets the customer’s standards. Including purchasing, inventory management, production, inspection, and internal and external communication. + Develop Work Instructions to ensure that best practices and process directions are documented and standardized. + Develop and maintain reports and databases to track process development, including methods and results. + Effectively report improvement options to stakeholders and interested parties. + Assist Sales, Estimating and Production in new or existing job strategies to develop the most efficient production methods. + Make observations and take measurements directly, as well as collecting and interpreting data from other personnel. Ensure the identification and development of best practices. + Develop plant layouts and material flows using sound practices balanced with return on investment for a given project, while weighing future expansion opportunities. + Find, design, and lead implementation plans for cost, productivity, profitability, and quality improvement. + Assist in the installation and start-up of new, rebuilt, or relocated equipment. + Report discrepancies and any equipment problems to Area Manager. + Keep area clean and organized at all times. + Follow all shop rules and ensure that all production activities are conducted in a safe manner. + Help out and support other areas or departments as needed or assigned. + Train new hires in the department and act as the go-to resource for operators when questions arise. + Data entry into spreadsheet for all parts processed through department. + Schedule daily and weekly production plans to meet customer’s needs. + Work to continuously improve operation with initiatives and bring effective ideas to fruition. Additional Responsibilities + Perform temporary assignments in other departments as needed. + Perform simple preventative maintenance as required. + Maintain traceability of all orders. + Travel to and participate in including but not limited to job related meetings, conventions, and training. Such travel may involve overnight stays of one or more nights. + Respond to customers and auditors with courtesy and give accurate answers to any inquiries. Qualifications Qualifications: + Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen, this includes THC. + Requires a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. + Three months or greater experience preferred License(s)/Certification(s) Required: + Valid drivers license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record in compliance with Paulo's Vehicle Use Policy.
