As a General Assembler, you will mechanically assemble and electrically test products in a team environment, to process and quality requirements to meet the company milestones and targets.

About You
The successful Process & General Assembler will ideally have previous experience of mechanical or process assembly in a manufacturing environment. Reliable team player, capable of working on own initiative within a team environment. Through this you would have gained all or some of;
Have good manual dexterity to work with complex assembliesBe able to use small hand tools and measuring equipment, e.g. feeler gauges, clock gauges and torque toolsFollow manufacturing instruction sheetsRead basic engineering drawingsKnowledge and experience of Lean manufacturing/Business improvement TechniquesWhat we can offer

This role requires Security Clearance (SC). It would be advantageous if currently held, however, if not currently held, it is a requirement that the successful applicant undergo, achieve, and maintain SC Clearance prior to commencing employment. Please visit the UKSV website for further guidance.
To be eligible for full SC, you generally need to have resided in the UK for the last 5 years. In some circumstances, a minimum of 3 years’ residence in the UK over the last 5 years may be accepted, with additional overseas checks.
