We are looking for an immediate, full-time, permanent position in APAC at Chennai, India.

 

Job Purpose:

Support to develop and administer Credit & Collections / Accounts Receivable (OTC) processes and activities to investigate and minimize credit risk in line with internal and external policies and standards, regulations, and compliance requirements.

Your tasks:

Strong contribution to the development and implementation of Accounts Receivable (OTC) processes including planning, policy design, accounting processes, products, and services. Close collaboration with OtC management e.g. regarding alignment on ideas and priorities, discussion of project progress, creation of result presentations & result analysis plus own presentation to international audiences, e.g. in steering committees.  Solving medium complex problems that require innovative thinking and developing significant and effective solutions for the business. Anticipating internal and/or external business or regulatory challenges at an early stage; recommending process, product, or service improvements Management of AR IT projects (e.g. Implementation of SAP components) including set-up of test cases and working aids, coordinating, or conducting of tests and execution of trainings and controls  Implementation of newest technology like Robotics or Artificial Intelligence to (partially) automate accounting processes to support realization of productivity, cost of Finance and quality goals Documentation and evaluation of business processes, Identification of optimization potential and process (re-) design as well as Change Management  Identify trends in issues and areas for service improvements that will deliver higher quality and/or lower cost Support team members with less experience. Expert in best practices and procedures for optimal quality in the OtC-Tower or for cross-departmental teams or projects Ongoing support for operational staff regarding several technical problems (e.g. SAP interfaces)   

Your profile:

Education Level:

Minimum Bachelor’s degree in commerce and accounting.

Experience Level

More than 4 years (in area of OTC, IT / project management or process optimization) Proven experience in successful management of multiple projects Transactional accounting knowledge, especially how transactions are captured in SAP. Preferably knowledge of OTC processes and the touch points to other accounting areas (Billing, GL, AP) SAP, process certifications (e.g. Six Sigma) and some experience with programming and/or programming languages (UIPath) are a plus. English and preferably German speaking would be an advantage.
