About the role:

Global Business Operations (GBO) is a global multifunctional shared service entity that processes DIAGEO-wide transactions across various world regions. Processes in scope are: Sells to Cash (STC), Source to Pay (STP) and Record to Report (RTR) and Data Services (MDM). 

The role is responsible for a specific area of Master Data maintenance across GDBS served markets.

The role would entail responsibility for the step change, standardization and process harmonization of Master Data maintenance across GDBS served countries.

The purpose of this role is to accompany the creation and amendment of Customer/Vendor/Employee/Product/Supply/Finance Master Data to be onboarded in Coupa and ultimately in SAP, within the agreed lead-times, and while maintaining business compliance. The role will also be involved in the daily activities of the Master Data process.

Role Responsibilities:

Data Maintenance

·Create and maintain Master Data based on authorised business requests, according to the relevant policies and procedures

·Review Master Data Quality to ensure data is accurate and complete.

·Work closely with collaborators on timely & accurate completion of master data maintenance activities.

·Achieve individual goals including daily task, turn around time, accuracy and knowledge in the business process.  

Operational Reporting

·Complete and issue data-oriented reporting as requested on a timely basis   Process Improvement · Identify and pursue opportunities to streamline processes and increase process compliance with our collaborators.  

Training and Capability Enhancement

·Train new team members and provide basic insight for collaborators on Data related processes in SAP.

·Evaluate level of Right First Time requests versus rejections to identify any capability gaps to be addressed.

Experience / skills required:

Essential

·       Basic in English and Spanish & Portuguese      

·      1 year  relevant work experience STP or vendor master domain       

·       Working knowledge on SAP application      

·       Working knowledge on vendor master tools such as coupa, compliance desktop workflows etc. 

·      Knowledge Working on office application      

·       Should have adequate knowledge about process improvements tools and technologies       

·       Attention to Detail/Accuracy - Demonstrates sound commitment to importance of “right first time” principle through ensuring own work is 99% error free

·       Ability to work in a complex cross-functional or multinational environment

·       Knowledge on Vendor /Customer Master domain 

·       Review of supporting documents related to maintenance activity

·       Procuring approval for exception requests such as payment terms, payment method

·       Perform Vendor master Creation/Amendment/Cloning/Block/Deletion in SAP

·       Update and maintain critical information (bank account details/TAX details)

·       Publishing report on monthly basis to procurement/market

·       Query handling by coordinating with data coordinator/procurement/governance or relevant stake holder

·       Quarterly review of DTP to foresee any process deviation for specific market 

·       Perform testing in SAP test environment on any new technical change in system      

·       E2E ownership on the controls specified to the tasks  

Desirable:

·       Demonstrated energy and drive to make a difference in the data role.

·       Prior business experience preferable.

·       Strong communication skills, able to clearly and concisely explain processes or reasons for data request rejection.

·       Knowledge of SAP would be an advantage.
