Logan Health is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Scheduling Specialist to support our integrated Hematology, Oncology & Palliative Medicine Clinic, including patient scheduling for Brendan House and the Palliative Care Clinic.

In this vital role, you’ll be the central link that keeps provider schedules on track—coordinating complex care plans, assisting with procedure scheduling, and ensuring patients receive timely, seamless, and empathetic care. What You’ll Do:

Schedule provider visits, procedures, and treatments in support of both the Palliative Care Clinic and Brendan House.

Coordinate multi-specialty appointments—imaging, labs, surgical, pre-op, post-op, infusion, and more.

Ensure proper documentation, pre-clearance, and communication with patients ahead of services.

Monitor and optimize operating room and specialty department block time usage.

Work cross-functionally to maintain database accuracy and reduce duplicate records.

What You Bring:

One (1) or more of the following preferred:

Post-high school education or vocational training in healthcare

Experience in healthcare or customer service

Knowledge of medical terminology

Ability to accurately type 45 WPM (preferred)

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn new systems quickly

Excellent communication skills—verbal, written, and interpersonal

Highly organized, independent, and team-oriented with strong critical thinking skills

Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality

Shift:

Day Shift - 8 Hours (United States of America)

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week.  Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
