We're dedicated to providing what matters most to you. + Our Center for Workplace Violence Prevention and Caregiver Well-Being sets caregiver safety as a priority, identifying, reporting and responding to incidents and providing safety resources. **This is a regular PRN position, with caregivers working day/evening/night/weekend shifts between 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. or 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.** A caregiver who excels in this role will: + Provide nursing care in an operative setting to patients undergoing surgical or invasive procedures. + Perform scrub functions including the selection and handling of instruments and supplies used during procedure. + Perform circulating functions including monitoring, recording and communicating patient condition and managing overall nursing care of patient before, during and after procedure. + Prepare the OR, surgical instruments and equipment for use. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN program) + Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) + Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross + **Internal applicants:** one year of recent related clinical experience + **External applicants:** two years of recent related clinical experience Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) + Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross - If you do not hold this certification, you must obtain it within six months of hire + Two years of experience with circulating and scrubbing **Physical Requirements:** + Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. + Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time. + Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work. + Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 25 pounds and ability to push, pull, and navigate supply carts weighing > 75 pounds periodically. **Personal Protective Equipment:** + Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures. **Pay Range** Minimum hourly: $41.00 Maximum hourly: $41.00 The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires.
