PsychiatricRegistered Nurse (RN) – PRN (Per Diem)

Job Description:

Location: Fife, WA
Pay Rate: $57/hour

We are seeking a compassionate andexperienced Registered Nurse to join our behavioral health team in Fife, WA.This PRN (per diem) position offers flexible scheduling andthe opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individualsexperiencing psychiatric and behavioral health challenges.

Schedule:

12-hour shifts (day and night shifts available) Estimated 2 shifts per week Additional on-call opportunities available

Responsibilities:

The Psychiatric RN overseesmedical, psychiatric, substance abuse, and nursing care for individuals served.This role also acts as a clinical liaison until individuals are enrolled inservices at another community facility.

Key Duties Include:

Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans Administer medications per protocol Provide individual and family counseling Respond to crisis calls and provide interventions Coordinate with external medical and nursing services Maintain accurate and timely documentation Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve outcomes Ensure compliance with federal, state, and organizational standards

Required Skills andQualifications:

Valid Washington State RN license Current BLS certification Negative TB test and health certificate Minimum 1 year of experience in a behavioral health setting Knowledge of psychiatric medications, side effects, and interactions Strong documentation and communication skills Ability to conduct assessments and create treatment plans Trauma-Informed Care experience preferred Bilingual candidates preferred Must pass de-escalation training as required by state regulations Basic computer proficiency Effective listening and problem-solving skills
