**Job Description :**
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Provide exceptional spiritual and emotional support to patients, families, and staff in alignment with our commitment to compassionate care.
+ Communicate openly and clearly with team members to foster collaboration and trust.
+ Intentionally build and maintain positive relationships across departments to promote a supportive, team-oriented environment.
+ Contribute actively towards personal and organizational goals for professional development and excellence in patient care.
+ Demonstrate initiative in seeking opportunities to better the organization and the community we serve.
+ Engage fully with the organization’s culture of care while striving to deliver outstanding service in every interaction.
**Requirements:**
+ Masters of Theology (completed or in process) or equivalent
+ Minimum of one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) required.
+ One year hospital ministry under the supervision of an ACPE supervisor
+ Ordination and/or endorsement from appropriate religious body (completed or in progress).
**Skills:**
+ Have strong written and verbal communication skills
+ Proficient in basic computer operations and commonly used electronic communication tools including Outlook and industry-specific applications.
+ Skilled in working collaboratively and building rapport with individuals from diverse faith traditions and cultural backgrounds.
+ Proficiently document patient care in the electronic medical record and demonstrate this proficiency.
+ Ability to offer a calm presence and provide compassionate care during times of crisis or bereavement, offering a supportive and non-anxious presence.
+ Proficient in documenting patient care within electronic medical records with demonstrated accuracy and efficiency.
+ Capable of addressing religious and spiritual needs as requested by patients or staff, and appropriately referring to external clergy if needed.
+ Flexible and adaptable to varying work schedules to meet coverage needs.
