Our work depends on a Privilege Access Management (PAM) Engineer joining our team to analyze design, develop, implement, and support code for our government customer, the United States Postal Service.

   

HOW A PRIVILEGE ACCESS MANAGEMENT (PAM) ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

In this role, a typical day will include:

Technical contributor that will be implementing USPS cybersecurity strategies protecting the digital identities within the network, connected assets, hosted applications and data within the Information Technology (IT) environment.Candidates must have strong demonstrated experience in large enterprise IT environment
 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, preferred but not required.NOTE: If resources do not have a relevant college degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required.

Required Experience:

5+ years of IT security experience and application of Privilege Access Management (PAM) solutions towards identity and access management effortsSpecific technical knowledge, experience, and certifications with relevant tools such as Beyond Trust, Okta, SCIM integrationSplunk use and knowledge object developmentWindows and Linux system administrationPython scripting and automation implementationDirectory services including Active Directory, are requiredCandidates would benefit from having relevant technical certifications (CISSP, CISA, CISM, GIAC, RHCE, CPTE, or CEH)Strong oral and written communication skillsAbility to prepare and interpret flowchartsAbility to build & maintain schedules and step-by-step action plansStrong interpersonal and organizational skillsAbility to positively influence peer organization and key stakeholders.

Security Clearance Level:

Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance and successfully pass a thorough Government background screening process requiring the completion of detailed forms and fingerprintingThis position has a U.S. residency requirement. The USPS security clearance process requires the selected candidate to have resided in the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for the last five years as follows: U.S. Citizens cannot have left the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for longer than 6 months consecutively in the last 3 years (unless they meet certain exceptions). Non-U.S. Citizens cannot have left the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for longer than 90 days consecutively in the last 3 years.
