Description and Requirements Job Summary:We are looking for a motivated and skilled Private Cloud Developer to join Lenovo’s private cloud R&D team. This role will focus on developing and maintaining components of Lenovo’s private cloud platform, including compute, storage, and networking services based on open-source technologies. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on engineer with experience in virtualization, IaaS platforms, and cloud-native tools.
Key Responsibilities:Participate in the development of Lenovo’s private cloud platform, including modules such as compute orchestration, storage management, and network virtualization.Collaborate with architects and senior engineers to implement scalable, high-performance infrastructure features.Maintain and improve automation, monitoring, and deployment pipelines for private cloud services.Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.Investigate issues, debug production environments, and continuously improve system reliability.
Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.- 3+ years of experience in infrastructure or cloud platform development.- Proficient in Java, Python, or Go.- Familiar with OpenStack, KVM, Ceph, or similar open-source private cloud technologies.- Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, and other common databases.- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and CI/CD tools.- Knowledge of DevOps practices and agile (Scrum) development.- Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.- Experience with infrastructure monitoring, automation, or system performance tuning is a plus.
