We’re seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented **Registered Nurse (RN)** to join a dynamic healthcare partnership team supporting Medicaid services in Texas. This is a non-clinical, **remote** -review role focused on **prior authorization** and **utilization management** —ideal for RNs who thrive in a collaborative, analytical environment and are passionate about improving patient outcomes through smart, resource-conscious care decisions.
**Location:** Remote, but near Austin, TX
**Schedule:** Full-time | Must be available for shifts between 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Primary shift: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
**Role Type:** Contract
**Pay Rate:** Up to $41.04/hr
**Key Responsibilities**
• Conduct pre-service, concurrent, and retrospective reviews of medical services.
• Evaluate the medical necessity and appropriateness of outpatient and out-of-network services.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure high-quality, cost-effective care.
• Promote optimal use of member benefits and healthcare resources.
• Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines and professional standards.
**What You’ll Need**
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Strong clinical judgment and understanding of utilization review processes.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be available for an 8-hour shift between 7 AM and 7 PM, with the primary shift being 10 AM to 7 PM.
