Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Printing and Labeling Technicians for projects located in Ruther Glen, VA. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $20/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:          

Set up calibrate and operate printing engraving and labeling machines according to production schedules and specifications Inspect printed materials for quality assurance ensuring legibility correct placement and adherence to client specifications Load materials such as labels ink ribbons and packaging components into machinery Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of printing and labeling equipment to minimize downtime Collaborate with inventory and logistics teams to ensure timely availability and flow of labeling materials Accurately complete production logs quality control checklists and equipment maintenance recordsEnsure compliance with company safety standards and operational procedures Participate in continuous improvement initiatives including 5S Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen activities Communicate issues delays or discrepancies to supervision in a timely and solution oriented manner

 

Requirements High School Diploma or GED required technical training preferred 1-3 years of experience operating printing labeling or packaging machinery in a manufacturing or distribution environment Familiarity with bar-code systems labeling software laser engraving machines and thermal or ink-jet printers Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills Proficient in reading work orders production schedules and basic technical drawings Ability to work independently and as part of a cross functional team Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs stand for prolonged periods and operate equipment in a production setting Willingness to work flexible shifts overtime or weekends based on production demandsMust be able to pass a background check and drug screening Company Details
