Elderwood is seeking a Print Shop Technician to join our team!
Print Shop Technician Position Overview:
The Print Shop Technician is responsible for maintaining the daily operation of the print shop. This includes: Ordering and stocking of all materials and equipment, ensuring proper operating condition and service of equipment, arranging for courier delivery of completed orders and performing Print Shop maintenance tasks as required. ResponsibilitiesPrint Shop Technician Position Responsibilities:
Produce in-house print orders that are requisitioned by Elderwood or its affiliated entities including; newsletters, forms, documents, letters, carbonless forms, invitations, flyers, cards, etc.Produce Staff ID tags that are requisitioned by Elderwood or its affiliated entities.Operation of equipment while maintaining safety procedures.Return all originals and mechanicals to files located at the print shop.Prepare and ensure delivery of all printing orders to the facilities through the Mail Courier. This includes packaging of order.Perform daily, weekly and monthly preventative maintenance and cleaning procedures. Ensure contracted preventative maintenance by others is completed. QualificationsPrint Shop Technician Position Qualifications:
Digital Printing experience required.Excellent technical skills and good communication skills required.Thorough knowledge of Digital printing processes required.Ability to work independently and cooperatively with other staff members and departments.Sense of responsibility and organizational ability required.Ability to work independently and cooperatively with other staff members and departments.This position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors. In order to ensure a safe work environment for residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors of the Company, and to permit unfettered communication between the employee and those residents, coworkers, visitors, and supervisors, this position requires that the employee be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level.
