The Print Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient operation and continuous improvement of the Humana Copy Center Ordering Portal and supporting processes. This role manages relationships with external print vendors, leads process improvement initiatives, manages change requests, delivers user training, and resolves issues to ensure optimal performance of print services. The Print Project Manager collaborates with stakeholders across the organization to drive process efficacy and client satisfaction.
This position involves working directly with print vendors, ensuring that materials are delivered on time, and managing budgets to achieve cost-effective solutions. Promotes alignment by understanding and communicating customer needs and requirements throughout the organization. Effective communication and relationship-building skills are key, as the role involves coordinating with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with the supplier and Senior Professional to design, launch, and maintain a streamlined, user-friendly ordering platform
Develop and monitor status reports to keep key stakeholders informed of progress and performance
Identify and implement process improvements, including updates to procedures and ordering policies
Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) on copy center and mail print production best practices
Collaborate with EPM team members to optimize production methods and drive operational efficiency
Manage daily supplier interactions, ensuring high service quality and timely issue resolution
Maintain and update the ordering platform by adding new print materials and removing outdated items
Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders and agents on order placement and supplier-related inquiries
Create and manage purchase orders, monitor budget allocations, and approve invoices in accordance with financial controls
Deliver “white glove” service for high-touch or expedited orders in priority locations
Develop and deliver training programs or sessions for portal users to ensure effective system utilization and knowledge transfer

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of relevant print, vendor management and/or project management experience
2 years of print production project plans
2 years of experience managing external print supplier relationships
Proficiency in Microsoft products (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Ability to assimilate, analyze, draw conclusions, and make recommendations from multi-faceted and often ambiguous data
Strong financial and business acumen required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to motivate project team members, stakeholders and print suppliers to meet established deadlines
Motivated initiative-taker with the ability to work with minimal oversight
Ability to be flexible and willing to learn new skill sets quickly as the need arises
Effectiveness in working collaboratively with cross-functional internal and external teams
Preferred Qualifications
Solid communication and negotiation skills
Experience working for a large-scale health and wellbeing organization preferred
Experience in working with logistics partners such as UPS, FedEx, and USPS
Understanding of print, mail and logistics best practices
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to research and make efficient use of resources to achieve effective business results
Ability to manage multiple priorities or projects simultaneously in a timely and professional manner; ability to transfer lessons learned into new processes; flexibility in job focus
Understanding of Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) guidelines
Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.Scheduled Weekly Hours
