About The Role
 We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Print Offsider to join our team. In this role is to assist the Print Operator to convert sheeted stock into printed sheets ready for die cutting or outside processing of speciality prints.

 

What You’ll Do

Review workload with operator to ensure all preparation work is managed in a timely manner to ensure continuous running of the machine.Assist the Operator with setup of the machine and consumables to the standard required in preparation for the run (make ready).Review and check the condition of sheeted board, pile turning as required in accordance with job specifications.Responsible for continuous supply of board and operation of the feeder system.Assist Operator with each job to ensure quality and productivity requirements are met.Assist Operator with machine operation to ensure continuous running.Assist Operator with routine maintenance in accordance with the Daily Equipment Care program.Ability to safely operate or assist with the operation of hoists.Replace and replenishment of bulk consumables as required (e.g. Coating and Ink Drums).Responsible for housekeeping of Press Room in accordance with GMP Policy and Audits.Assist in cross training other staff where applicable.

 

What You Bring

2+ years experience in sheetfed machine operation and/or assisting.Knowledge of printing process, and machine function and operationDemonstrate experience working to deadlines and KPIs.Prior exposure to FMCGAttention to detailChemical awarenessProblem solving skillsVerbal and written communicationSound literacy and numeracy skills
