Title / Designation:  Principal Specialist - Application Data Security Compliance Location: Bangalore   Experience: 5-8 years Work Mode: Hybrid (2 days WFO)

 

Role & responsibilities:

 

Design and implement robust data security and compliance solutions to safeguard sensitive information across the SAP landscape. Lead the development and deployment of compliance technologies such as NextLabs and SAP UI Masking to enforce policy-driven protection. Resolve complex compliance and security challenges through detailed risk analysis and in-depth technical evaluation. Provide expert technical guidance during pilots, proof-of-concepts, and enterprise-wide rollouts to ensure successful adoption and scalability. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to interpret regulatory and business requirements and translate them into actionable security policies. Administer, monitor, and optimize implemented technologies to maintain performance, reliability, and continuous compliance. Develop and maintain documentation, security standards, and operating procedures to support governance and audit readiness.

 

Candidate requirements:

 

5–8 years of hands-on experience in SAP Security & Compliance, including expertise in Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC) and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC). Proven end-to-end implementation experience with SAP security and compliance tools such as NextLabs, SAP UI Masking, and Pathlock (AVM). Strong knowledge of SAP security features, architecture, and industry best practices to design and enforce secure access frameworks. Demonstrated ability to provide technical security leadership across complex, cross-domain, and heterogeneous IT environments in collaboration with business and IT teams. Practical experience deploying policy-based access control models within SAP landscapes to support governance and regulatory compliance. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams and influence decision-making.
