As a Principal Technology Strategy professional, you will join a dynamic team dedicated to creating, maintaining, and communicating 5-year capital plans for RAN (Radio Access Network) and Mobility Transport infrastructure. Your contributions will enhance customer experience, improve competitive positioning, and ensure optimal return on invested capital. You will leverage your expertise—and your willingness to continuously learn—to understand the intricate relationship between network technology deployments (both current and future) and the broader AT&T business, focusing on one or more key technology domains and components.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Leverage strong technical evaluation skills to interpret complex information and develop a range of future scenarios.Utilize research skills to evaluate competitive and industry dynamics, focusing on the technical and economic impacts of new RAN and Mobility Transport technologies.Apply standard corporate strategy frameworks and conduct analyses from a technical perspective.Integrate technical, strategic, and financial Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analyses into cohesive hypotheses and actionable conclusions.Distill complex problems into clear, concise key decisions and recommendations.Present hypotheses, conclusions, and recommendations confidently and effectively to senior management.Own meaningful projects from start to finish, with expert guidance and mentorship every step of the way.Collaborate closely with a diverse team of subject matter experts across disciplines, including Cloud RAN, Open RAN, 5G Standalone, and 6G preparation.Contribute fresh ideas and innovative solutions that drive the team forward.Education:
Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, Electrical Engineering, or Math; or equivalent experience preferred.Required Experience:
8 - 10 years of relevant experience.Key Skills & Qualifications:
Telecommunications Expertise: Solid understanding of industry trends, RAN, mobility transport, 5G, vRAN, and network planning.Technical Proficiency: Experience with spectrum management, antenna systems, and network architecture.Data Analysis & Visualization: Skilled in analyzing large datasets and presenting findings using tools like Excel, Power BI, Alteryx, and GIS platforms.Financial Acumen: Ability to perform financial analysis and develop business cases.Communication & Teamwork: Strong written and verbal communication skills, effective presenter, and collaborative team player.Attention to Detail & Organization: Excellent analytical thinking, accuracy, and ability to manage multiple priorities.AI & Automation: Familiarity with artificial intelligence concepts and automation tools is a plus.Our Principal Technology Strategy, earns between $143,800-$215,800 USD Annual, Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
