The Amazon Advertising team is seeking a highly skilled Principal Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead strategic programs focused on Salesforce and 1st-party applications in our advertising ecosystem. This role requires deep technical knowledge, a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, and a track record of driving large-scale enterprise programs. As a TPM, you will play a pivotal role in defining and executing system roadmaps, influencing both technical and business stakeholders, and ensuring seamless scalability to support our global operations.

Our Advertising Sales teams partner with both new and existing brands to expand their presence on our platforms, supported by the Sales & Partner Enablement (SPE) organization. At the core of our sales technology stack is Salesforce, integrated with our suite of 1st-party applications, enabling our sales teams to efficiently manage every aspect of the customer journey - from initial lead generation through successful campaign execution. By continuously optimizing these tools and processes, we empower our sales teams to focus on what matters most: building strategic partnerships and driving growth in one of Amazon's fastest-growing businesses.
Key job responsibilities
• Strategic Leadership: Drive the end-to-end delivery of large-scale programs involving Salesforce and 1st-party Applications, ensuring alignment with Amazon Advertising’s long-term business and technical goals.
• Stakeholder Influence: Partner with senior leaders, and business stakeholders to align on priorities, drive consensus, and deliver impactful solutions that scale globally.
• Solution Architecture: Collaborate with engineering, Salesforce administrators, and external vendors to design and implement scalable, and efficient system architectures.
• Data-Driven Decisions: Define KPIs and metrics to measure program success, identify areas for improvement, and provide transparent, actionable updates to leadership through detailed reporting and insights.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Act as the key connection point between engineering, business teams, ensuring alignment, effective communication, and seamless execution.
• Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure program objectives are met without compromising quality or timelines.
• Leadership Development: Mentor and guide other TPMs and cross-functional team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
