As a Principal Recruiter at Guidewire, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our talent strategy and driving the recruitment of top-tier talent across India. You will partner closely with business leaders and hiring managers to deliver a world-class candidate experience and ensure we attract, engage, and hire exceptional talent that supports Guidewire’s mission to empower the global property and casualty insurance industry.You will lead complex searches, mentor junior recruiters, and contribute to continuous improvement of our talent attraction processes. Job Description
What You’ll Do
Lead end-to-end recruitment for senior and niche roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management.Partner with business leaders and hiring managers to understand talent needs, develop effective sourcing strategies, and deliver against hiring goals.Mentor and coach junior recruiters, sharing best practices and supporting their professional growth.Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives throughout the hiring process.Build and maintain strong talent pipelines using a variety of sourcing channels, including direct outreach, networking, and employee referrals.Analyze recruitment metrics and market trends to inform hiring strategies and improve processes.Represent Guidewire at industry events, networking opportunities, and employer branding initiatives.Ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience at every stage of the recruitment process.Collaborate with HR, People Operations, and other cross-functional teams to support Guidewire’s broader talent and business objectives.What You’ll Bring
Extensive experience (typically 8+ years) in full-cycle recruitment, with a proven track record of hiring for senior, technical, and/or highly specialized roles.Deep knowledge of talent markets in India, with strong sourcing and networking skills.Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with business leaders and influence hiring decisions.Experience mentoring or leading other recruiters.Strong analytical skills and experience using data to drive recruitment strategies.Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.Passion for delivering an outstanding candidate experience and championing Guidewire’s values.Experience with applicant tracking systems (e.g., Workday) and recruitment tools.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.Impact Statement Your work will directly impact Guidewire’s ability to innovate and deliver for our customers by ensuring we hire the best talent in the industry.
