Applied Signal Technology (AST) is looking for a **Principal** **S** **ystems Engineering, Integration and Test (SEIT) Engineer** to join our top-tier Engineering team and play a key role in driving our mission forward. **What You Will Do**
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and define system requirements
+ Plan, coordinate, and execute system integration and testing activities
+ Develop and maintain system architecture and design documentation
+ Work autonomously yet collaboratively in a team environment
+ Travel up to 25%
**Qualifications You Must Have**
+ Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
+ Typically requires minimum of 8 years of practical experience in Systems Engineering including experience with design, development and testing of custom hardware and software systems of high complexityExperience creating detailed test plans, procedures, and reports to ensure system functionality and performance meet specificationsExperience troubleshooting and resolving issues identified during integration and testing phasesExperience working with customers, end users, hardware design teams, and software design teams
+ Active and transferable **TS/SCI U.S. government issued security clearance** is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain **polygraph** prior to start.
+ U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
**Qualifications We Prefer**
+ Experience with or basic understanding of telecommunications systems concepts and/or signal processingExperience with automated system deploymentsExperience with enterprise grade storage equipmentExperience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerized systemsExperience with User Interface developmentExperience with object-oriented programming languages
+ Desired Education: Master of Science (MS) Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a STEM related field.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
