We have an exciting opportunity for a **Principal Systems Engineer** – **Scrum Master** where your experience working complex product roadmaps, backlog grooming, prioritization, stand-ups, demo’s and retrospectives will be put to good use. The work is on-site in Aurora, CO.
**What You Will Do**
+ Lead project teams through proper Agile practices within the overall program agile strategy
+ Conduct full Agile ceremony, including sprint planning, grooming, stand-ups, demos and retrospectives to ensure value is provided to the customer/requestor to ensure business objectives and goals are met
+ Work with your Team to maintain healthy backlog of well written stories that are development ready
+ Work with Integration and Test Team and Product Management to create effective story point estimates
+ Work closely with the Release Train Engineer (RTE) and other Agile team members (Product Owners and Scrum Masters) to coordinate the delivery of features and capabilities
+ Drive execution within the Agile Development Team (ADT) to ensure collective objectives are met within the PIs through regular focus group sessions
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and elaborate work packages and features ensuring alignment with project goals and customer needs.
+ Assist in the integration and testing of system components, facilitating the validation and verification process to ensure successful feature sell-off and system functionality.
**Qualifications You Must Have**
+ Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Systems, Mechanical, Aerospace, or Electrical Engineering, or a related field and minimum 8+ years of prior relevant experience
+ Experience on a software government contract and experience with the Atlassian resource suite, specifically: Jira and Confluence
+ Experience working in an Agile or DevOps development environment and being part of a highly integrated team working closely with SW, Integration and Verification teams
+ Experience in managing product roadmaps, backlog grooming, and collaborative development workflows
+ Experience with Agile frameworks (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban) and experience in executing Agile processes at scale
**Qualifications We Prefer**
+ Scrum Master experience
+ Experience working in a software development environment with Systems Engineering teams
+ Knowledge of systems engineering lifecycle, roles and functions in one or more of the following areas: Concept of Operations (ConOps) development, requirements definition and management, functional analysis, interface definition and control, and/or verification and validation
+ Experience overseeing and/or leading Systems Engineering teams
+ Experience communicating status, issues, and resolution plans across all major stakeholders including senior management and customers

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
