BAE Systems is seeking a motivated network engineer to join the Compass Call Team and support the network architect on the next generation weapon system to optimize the network design to ensure system performance and operating requirements are met. You will integrate systems into development environments while maintaining and improving network design and operations. You may also perform other systems engineering tasks as required. Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** + Must hold an active Secret clearance + BS in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Software or equivalent plus 6 years' experience in field + Experience with systems engineering processes, methodologies, and tools. + Ability to prioritize and adjust to dynamic project needs. + Proven design, analysis, and communication skills + Understands the interaction between network protocol layers and applications. + Experience developing scripts or applications to automate network operations. + Experience with routers, switches and firewalls in a Linux Environment **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** + Hold an active Top Secret clearance + MS in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Software or equivalent plus 6 years' experience in field + Experience with Electronic Warfare Systems + Experience in high performance networking + Experience wiht real time cloud computing + Experience with network performance monitoring and tuning **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $118095 - $200762 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
