Integrated Air & Missile Defense Systems (IAMDS) department is seeking a **Principal Systems Engineer** with technical expertise and systems engineering skills to design and support System of Systems (SoS) in an agile, model-based development environment. IAMDS leads all aspects of Systems Engineering that drive the development of complex systems to support the Raytheon Air & Space Defense Systems (ASDS) mission area from our Tewksbury, MA location.  The IAMDS department supports Raytheon by cultivating a world-class group of systems thinkers who work together as a team to architect technical solutions to some of the world’s toughest challenges. **This position is onsite in Tewksbury, MA** **What You will Do:** + You will be responsible for concept and requirements development, including decomposition and flow-down + You will be responsible for developing and maintaining system design and requirements documents including + Concept of Operations (CONOPS) + System/Subsystem Design Documents (SSDD) + System/Software Requirements (SRD/SRS) + Interface Control Documents (ICDs) + Communicate with cross-discipline engineering teams to coordinate system design plans and software/hardware/network requirements + Provide Engineering sustainment support to fielded tactical C5I systems + Manage technical risks by evaluating design options **Qualifications You Must Have:** + Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 8 years of prior engineering experience or equivalent experience. + Knowledge of Command, Control, Communications, Computers, & Intelligence (C4I) systems + Experience with System Engineering processes, tools, and development lifecycle + Active/Existing security clearance. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
