The SQE will be report into the Supplier Quality Manager. Expected Travel requirement: Approximately 10%. This will be a mix of local, day visits as well as some overnight travel, outside the local area. The SQE will: + Investigate, evaluate, and resolve supplier quality problems by conducting audits, analyzing defect trends, and leading continuous improvement projects. + Conduct capability assessments that verify supplier qualifications, travel to assigned suppliers, and lead multiple projects to completion + Be a self-starting problem solver who will utilize their analytical skills to find innovative solutions to quality-related issues + Be a strong communicator, ensuring suppliers understand requirements and expectations, make progress reports and present findings -[if !supportLineBreakNewLine]-> -[endif]-> **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** + Bachelor s Degree in Engineering or Technical field and 6 years of experience or 10 years of experience in lieu of degree + Experience with electrical/mechanical inspections, product test, equipment and instrumentation + Working knowledge of supply chain logistics from raw material to finished goods including experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system/Quality Management Software system **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** + Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Technical Discipline + Experience in a Defense Electronics Prime Contract environment + Working knowledge of AS9100 Quality System + Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification or above and working knowledge of APQP and PPAP systems. + Proficient experience on Product Production Line Validation, test, equipment, instrumentation and qualification of mechanical and Fabricated product + Experience with product test, equipment and instrumentation, knowledge of multiple Electronics Commodities, such as CCA, PWB, Electronic and Electrical assemblies, RF and MW Devices, Semiconductor, distributors, passives and miscellaneous. + Familiarity with APQP, PPAP and tools such as DFMEA, PFMEA and Control Plan + Working knowledge of the principles and the purpose of a Quality Management System **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $126305 - $214718 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures.
