Principal Stakeholder Coordinator

Abu Dhabi, UAE

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Principal Stakeholder Coordinator to join our team!

What You'll Be Doing:

The Principal Stakeholder Coordinator is responsible for independently managing complex stakeholder engagements, authority approvals, and cross-functional coordination within infrastructure and master planning projects. The role provides operational leadership within the stakeholder management function, ensuring structured case ownership, regulatory compliance, risk awareness, and alignment with project objectives.

Working with minimal supervision, the position supports the Stakeholder Manager in maintaining governance standards, consistent decision-making, and effective stakeholder positioning across projects.

The Principal Stakeholder Coordinator plays a key operational leadership role within the stakeholder management function. The position is responsible for independently managing complex stakeholder cases, leading coordination across authorities and project teams, and ensuring consistent alignment with project and business objectives.

The role operates with limited supervision and supports the Stakeholder Manager in maintaining governance, structured decision-making, and delivery discipline.

Key Responsibilities

Independently manage complex stakeholder submissions, authority approvals, and NOC processes.

Lead coordination with government entities, utility providers, and external stakeholders.

Ensure consistency in stakeholder positioning and communication strategy.

Provide technical and procedural guidance to junior and senior coordinators.

Review and validate stakeholder correspondence prior to circulation.

Identify risks, conflicts, and escalation points, and propose mitigation strategies.

Maintain structured tracking systems for stakeholder commitments and approvals.

Support development and refinement of stakeholder workflows and processes.

Represent the function in internal coordination meetings and selected external engagements.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal governance standards, and client expectations.

What Required Skills You'll Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Infrastructure, Construction Management, or related discipline.

8–12 years of experience in stakeholder management, authority coordination, or infrastructure permitting.

Strong understanding of Abu Dhabi authority systems and infrastructure regulatory environment.

Proven experience handling complex submissions and multi-stakeholder environments.

Ability to operate independently with sound judgment.
