Role Purpose/Business Unit: Managing the end-to-end formulation and implementation of Commercials (commissions and incentives) in Branded Channels to drive channel targets resulting in revenue generation for Business Partners and Vodacom.Ensure compliance to the approved Master Commercial Agreement between Vodacom, Business Partners, and internal stakeholder like Financial Operations.End to end analysis related to trends and insights on products, services and deals in channel and performance tracking of Branded Channels KPIs, and make recommendations on potential changes to be implemented to meet target and associated revenues.End to end enablement and management of the onboarding and offboarding of Business Partners (both existing and new) in channel which includes transformation, Business Partner agreements, Business Partner repository management and final implementation.Your responsibilities will include:
Enablement and Commercial Management:
Manage the governance of commercials agreements, processes and overseeing FinOps, BI and Legal interfaces into Branded Channels.Track channel performance by comparing and analysing report but not limited to actual results against plans and forecasts on Post-Paid/Churn/Pre-Paid/Average Revenue Per User/Inflow Revenue/Financial Services/New Products or Propositions/Retentions activities hence providing critical insights to senior management for informed decision-making.Design and manage various KPI scorecard information to be shared via various app platforms with Business Partners providing them.Manage all Qliksense reporting for channel including driving compliance and adoption by Business Partners and regions.Manage onboarding integration with new/existing Business Partner to enable successful setup and operational excellence.Oversee the analysing of information focused on channel performance, commercial behaviours, trends, learnings, insights, recommendations including the development of models as needed for the channel.Manage end to end workflows and invoice payments for channel including accurate and timeous completion of process.Oversee VIP management for channel including handling claims from Business Partners and engaging finance on approvals.Manage the monthly submission of Turnover Declaration for Royalty Payments.
Compliance and Governance:
Manage Transformation and BBBEE compliance for channel including impact scoring and vendor compliance assessments for the channel.
Reporting Management:
Provide executive management, other internal and external stakeholders with reports, as well as interpret and analyse management information.Provide a range of reports to ensure that agreed SLA’s and performance are measured and monitored on an on-going basis.Ad hoc reporting as required from time to time.Provide commercial and cost/revenue reporting on post-paid performance.
Stakeholder Management:
Ensure internal/external stakeholder management and ensures that all relevant stakeholders are aligned toward common business objectives.Building strong and productive business relations with Business Partners and business unitsEngage, collaborate, and journey closely with cross-functional teams and other support structures to ensure enablement of business priorities and initiatives within the Branded Channel.The ideal candidate for this role will have:Matric / Grade 12 (Essential) andRelevant 3-year Degree/National Diploma in Business Management /Operations/Commerce essential andA minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience essential in:Business or sales management for retail or similar large entity modelSystem reporting applications e.g., Qlik sense, Power BI, or other globally recognised moduleDatabase experience (data extraction, transformation, and interpretation)Channel model development, reporting and dashboards.preferably in Telecoms industry experience especially in consumer /retail business operations areasCore competencies, knowledge, and experience:
