We’re looking for a highly skilled Principal Software Engineer with strong expertise in React, .NET, and Azure technologies to join our agile development team. In this role, you’ll drive UI architecture, design scalable and secure web applications, and provide technical leadership to fellow engineers. You’ll collaborate closely with product owners and managers to translate business needs into high-quality solutions while ensuring best practices in performance, security, and scalability.
 

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with 5+ years of experience building enterprise-grade web applications, a deep understanding of modern front-end development, and solid knowledge of back-end services and cloud hosting. Responsibilities:

Work as part of an agile development team to design, estimate, develop, test and deliver commercial software products.Drive UI architecture, design and develop rich UI web applications and reusable UI components.Ensure best practices, design guidelines for UI developmentProvide technical leadership to fellow UI engineers.Write clean code to develop functional web applications and server-side applicationsDevelop and design generic, secure & scalable RESTful services and APIsWrite unit and integration tests and collaborate with QA for resolution of issuesCollaborate with product owners and product managers to understand business requirements and for user story creation and refinement.Provide input for project estimation, planning, timelines, and statusPerform other duties and responsibilities, as necessary.

Required Experience:

8+ years of Web Front End development using various technologies, frameworks, and toolsStrong experience with REACT and JavaScript/TypeScript for Web UIs.Good experience with C#, JSON, REST APIsIn-depth understanding of web developmentKnowledge of best practices in back-end architecture, including performance, security and scalabilityExperience with Azure Cloud hosting and scaling web applicationsKnowledge of Azure technologies and environmentKnowledge in authentication concepts and technologies such as OAuth, OpenID, Azure Active Directory B2CWorking knowledge of Agile Scrum development methodologiesWorking knowledge of Azure Dev Ops.Domain knowledge in life-cycle assessment is an asset

Required Education:

University degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience.
