As a Principal Software Engineer and member of our DPU Runtime Operating System team, you will be responsible for developing cutting-edge, high-performance, scalable and programmable DPU software. You will be spearheading efforts within our DPU Confidential Compute team, focusing on the development, maintenance, and review of operating systems software including hypervisors, drivers, tools and runtime from specification through deployment and support. Work closely with our software stack developers and operations support when needed. + Lead by example and mentor others to produce extensible and maintainable code used across products. + Leverage subject-matter expertise of cross-product features with appropriate stakeholders (e.g., project managers) to drive multiple group's project plans, release plans, and work items. + Proactively seeks new knowledge and adapt to new trends, technical solutions, and patterns that will improve the availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance of products while also driving consistency in monitoring and operations at scale and share knowledge with other engineers. **Qualifications** **Required Qualifications:** + Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 6+ yearstechnical engineering experience with coding in C or RUST. + 3+ years of experience developing and supporting operating system and kernel internals, such as device drivers. + 2+ years of proficiency identifying and fixing hard to find bugs in embedded or large-scale systems. **Other Requirements:** + Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
