Kforce has a client that is seeking a remote Principal Software Engineer to join their team. Summary: The client is seeking an individual to support a few applications to make it more efficient and easy to use. The application is sophisticated, and they are rewriting a majority to make it more efficient and easier to use. They are currently rewriting some of the backend flows, mainly Java 21+ and migrating off of Informix and to a new data source; everything is built in Java, spring boot, GCP and has small react UI. The other applications are essentially mainly backend Java/GCP as well. This person will be 20% hands on, with the rest being design sessions, leadership, meeting with stakeholders, strategy calls, and other things as assigned.
