What You Will Do:

Mentor/guide a team of software engineering professionals.

Communicate frequently with Development, Product Management, and other teams to enable planning, problem-solving, and shipping products.

Ensure successful execution and delivery of engineering platform/framework, and continuous improvement of the organization's ability to execute them.

Make strategic engineering solution recommendations to the senior staff.

Develop and implement the processes, procedures and standards for the review and testing of software development and maintenance.

Software and hardware development tools planning recommendations.

Work with QA and product teams to develop test plans.

Give regular status reports and performance metrics to the department manager.

Interact with stakeholders (cross-site engineering teams and product management teams) to understand the requirements.

Involved in design, development and peer review and leads-by-example and is hands-on as well.

Desire to improve code quality and build highly stable, responsive applications.

What You Need to Be Successful:

This position requires a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science or Technology.

Minimum 10+ years of experience in architecting, designing and implementing complete software solutions.

Experience with Angular, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, C# and .NET.

Track record of strong troubleshooting and problem resolution skills.

Agile software development experience; certification will be a bonus.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret scientific and technical journals.

Ability to be detail-oriented and effectively document code.

Demonstrates technical leadership skills.

Must be a self-starter and a team player.

Bonus Points if You Have:

Any JavaScript library experience.

Ability to handle a variety of projects simultaneously.

Should be a technical leader who inspires other teammates.

Ability to work effectively with other teams.

Should have excellent written and verbal skills in English.

Experience working with globally distributed team is preferred.

Knowledge or experience in audio domain/industry would be an advantage.
