A Brief Overview
Designs, develops, and implements digital solutions and systems by applying advanced technical expertise to architect and code software applications, conduct system testing and debugging, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the overall technical direction and innovation of digital engineering projects.What you will doWrites code, performs code reviews, and ensures the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements and industry standards.Contributes to the architectural design of digital solutions, working closely with architects and senior engineers.Collaborates with cross-functional teams, such as product managers, designers, and quality assurance engineers, to develop and deliver software solutions.Defines the system architecture, evaluates technologies and frameworks, and ensures scalability, performance, and security considerations are addressed.Participates in agile development processes, contributes to requirements gathering, and ensures the timely and successful completion of development milestones.Analyzes and optimizes the performance of software systems, identifying areas of improvement and implementing solutions to enhance speed, scalability, and efficiency.Creates and maintains technical documentation, including system design specifications, architecture diagrams, and developer guides.Proposes and implements new tools, methodologies, and automation techniques to increase development efficiency and productivity.Provides technical leadership and guidance to a team of developers by leveraging expertise to mentor and coach junior engineers, assisting in technical problem-solving, and driving best practices and coding standards within the team.For this role you will need Minimum Requirements10+ years work experienceExperience with .NETMastery of problem solving and decision making skillsMastery of collaboration and teamworkMastery of growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skillsMastery of execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skillsMastery of business intelligenceMastery of event driven design conceptsPreferred QualificationsCertified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) preferred. AWS Certified DevOps Engineer preferred. Proven ability to leverage AI in SDLCEducationBachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification.  

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$144,200.00 - $288,400.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
