Principal Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)
Our client, a leading technology organization, is seeking a Principal Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join their team. As a Principal Site Reliability Engineer, you will be part of the Technical Operations department supporting the Program. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, collaboration skills, and an automation mindset which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Principal Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) **Location:** Boston, Massachusetts **What's the Job?** + Operate the production environment for the program. + Architect, implement, and leverage solution monitoring and tooling for capacity planning and scaling. + Design and develop CI/CD and IaC Pipeline automation. + Ensure resiliency, disaster recovery, and business continuity through testing. + Collaborate with Engineers and Architects to maintain seamless automation across the platform. **What's Needed?** + Extensive knowledge and understanding of AWS environments & services (EC2, EBS, EKS, RDS, etc.). + Experience with Hashicorp tools such as Terraform, Consul, Vault, and Ansible. + Proficiency in scripting languages, preferably Python, for automated processes. + Experience working in a Linux environment and shell scripting. + Familiarity with observability tools like CloudWatch, Grafana, and Prometheus. **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and tools. + Collaborative and inclusive work environment. + Chance to contribute to significant projects that impact the organization. + Professional growth and development opportunities. + Engagement with a diverse team of skilled professionals.
