Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is responsible for securing the U.S. national borders against the illegal entry of people and goods between ports of entry (POE). To accomplish this, the U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) uses a mix of infrastructure, technology, and personnel to execute the mission elements.
The Linear Ground Detection System (LGDS) Program contributes to the fulfillment of the DHS and CBP strategic goals and associated objectives. The LGDS Program is a technology solution that will improve upon current in-ground detection (i.e., Unattended Ground Sensors (UGS)) and identification capabilities that are scalable and deployable across all environments, near and apart from, man-made and natural border barriers. The LGDS Program will fill current gaps in the surveillance capability, and the capacity of detection and identification that drive a need to provide an increased level of situational awareness of Items of Interest (IoI) illegally entering the U.S.
**Duties/Responsibilities:**
+ Candidates must be capable of applying management skills to all aspects of program success as measured by customer satisfaction, financial objectives and contributions to the responsible AT&T business unit. The person in this position will work as a member of the AT&T Public Sector management team which is responsible for Professional Service and be willing to work with a team of AT&T and subcontractor teammates.
+ Prior experience in federal contractor programs with firm experience in DHS/DOD Tactical Communications; Seasoned experience with order entry, management and oversight; Experience using GSA contracts for CBP business purposes, preferably with tactical communication contracts; Experience in implementing contract modifications; Able to represent AT&T well to all levels of customers and suppliers; Ability to effectively convey ideas, facts, and directions in either written or verbal form, both informally and formally; Plans ahead, but flexibly adjusts plans as circumstances evolve or assumptions are changed; Anticipates potential problems, identifies risks, plans contingencies; Able to work multiple issues simultaneously while maintaining professional composure.

**Required Qualifications:**
+ Must be a U.S. Citizen and pass the DHS Employment Eligibility Verification process.
+ Bachelor (Business or Technical)
+ Minimum of 10 years of experience with DHS/DOD agencies such as CBP in tactical communications
+ Monthly travel to Northern or Southern Borders
**Desired Qualifications**
+ Experience working with tactical communications (i.e. surveillance, voice/data transport and interrogation).
+ Experience working with CBP.
+ Strong technical writing, oral communication, and interpersonal skills.
