Principal Product Manager

Proclinical is seeking a Principal Product Manager to join a dynamic Digital Customer Experience (DCX) team. In this role, you will focus on developing innovative digital products and optimizing existing capabilities to enhance the customer journey. You will lead end-to-end product management for global connected products, translating business goals into impactful product initiatives. This position requires a strong understanding of customer needs, market dynamics, and technology opportunities to drive the execution of a digital roadmap. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that simplify the lives of people with diabetes.

Responsibilities:

Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, competitive dynamics, and market opportunities. Lead data-driven processes to test commercial viability and technical feasibility, translating insights into actionable business cases and roadmaps. Build and deliver business cases aligned with strategic goals and outcomes. Define and execute a clear product vision and integrated roadmap to achieve enterprise and franchise objectives. Manage the full product lifecycle, including new feature launches, global market expansions, sustaining activities, and technical debt retirement. Set release targets, scope, and value propositions to drive growth and innovation. Monitor on-market product performance, including market share retention and product complaints. Create process flows to illustrate operational impacts of new or improved capabilities. Participate in usability studies to incorporate customer feedback into product development. Collaborate with technical architects to ensure consistent solution designs across delivery teams. Work with Product Marketing Managers to shape integrated launch strategies for global products. Establish best practices for product management and ownership within the organization. Coordinate architecture and scalability requirements, guiding investment timing. Contribute to annual and strategic planning through bottom-up forecasting.

Key Skills and Requirements:

Customer-focused mindset with the ability to translate insights into actionable product strategies. Strong business acumen and passion for delivering impactful, innovative technologies. Data-driven decision-making skills with the ability to balance technical constraints and business outcomes. Familiarity with IT systems development, Web, and CRM platforms is preferred. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and foster collaboration. Strong project management skills to translate complex strategies into tactical initiatives. Experience developing and commercializing digital products. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Bachelor's degree in engineering, life sciences, business, or a related field. Knowledge or experience in diabetes care is a plus. Flexibility to travel up to 25% as needed.
