This role is critical to ensure the efficient operation of our high\-speed machining center, which utilizes 3, 4 and 5 axis machining for precision aerospace component production\. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of machine processes, advanced manufacturing techniques, and a proven ability to optimize production workflows in a high\-performance environment\. This position is onsite in Fort Worth, Texas\. **What you’ll be doing as a Principal Process Engineer \- High\-Speed Machining:** * Design, develop, and optimize 5\-axis machining processes for aerospace components\. * Influence the creation of CNC programs using advanced CAM software\. * Analyze and improve cycle times, tool paths, and cutting strategies for efficiency\. * Implement lean manufacturing principles to boost productivity and reduce costs\. * Ensure accurate machine setup, calibration, and compliance with aerospace standards\. * Troubleshoot machining issues and perform root cause analysis for defects\. * Integrate probe software for setup and on\-machine verification\. * Collaborate with Quality Assurance and design engineers for manufacturability and quality\. * Select cutting tools, monitor tool life, and coordinate machine maintenance schedules\. * Lead process improvements, mentor team members, and promote safety and continuous improvement\. **Qualifications** **Skills You Bring to This Role:** * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering field\. * 10 years of experience in Engineering working with high\-speed machining\.
