As part of the U.S. Marketing team for QuickBooks, the QuickBooks Online Accounting Team is seeking a highly motivated inbound and outbound product marketing professional who is excited to make a meaningful impact. The ideal candidate is a self-starting strategic thinker with experience translating market, product, and customer insights into strong product and marketing strategies while influencing and leading a cross-functional team to drive revenue and customer growth. The role will focus on partnering with our product teams, lifecycle marketing, finance, research, and Accountants, synthesizing our ecosystem Small Business and Self-Employed strategy into the most critical channel priorities across audience segments. You’ll be challenged to move fast, navigate ambiguity, and have a big impact on our customers’ lives, their livelihoods, and the QuickBooks brand trajectory in this role.
**What you'll bring**
+ Experience: 8+ years of product marketing or business strategy experience, including launching and scaling new offerings to market, inclusive of customer segmentation, positioning statement & messaging testing, and cross-channel GTM execution. Experience driving and growing a business leveraging AI preferred.
+ Leadership: Proven experience leading and influencing cross-functional teams to deliver amazing outcomes
+ Strategic Mindset: Ability to drive strategy formation with consumer insights and market intelligence
+ Communication: Solid verbal, written, visual/presentation and interpersonal communication skills, as well as an effective communicator at all levels
+ Analytical Mindset: Track record of making principled, data-based business decisions balanced with experienced judgment
+ Collaboration: Strong organization navigational skills, including ability to lead and influence without direct authority
**How you will lead**
+ Leverage customer insights, competitive understanding, and data analytics to unlock growth opportunities, influence product and marketing channel roadmaps and develop messaging strategies
+ Actively analyze business data to generate insights and make informed decisions that drive business results.
+ Contribute to 1 & 3 year financial and customer growth strategy plan development and execute programs in service to it
+ Use data and customer insights to deliver personalized marketing and customer experiences
+ Size & analyze opportunities. Articulate actionable recommendations that drive business impact. Proactively identify roadblocks and suggest alternative solutions.
+ Collaborate closely with Product Management, Analytics, Design, and Channel teams to create and deliver seamless customer and partner experiences
+ Lead or co-lead strategic initiatives and discrete projects. Develop clear action plans. Suggest relevant success metrics and targets. Set timelines and manage processes.
+ Leverage the appropriate learning strategies, including qualitative and quantitative consumer research and A/B in-market testing to roll-out experiences and creative that deliver improved business outcomes
+ Develop clear strategy briefs that translate customer insights into impactful benefits and reasons to believe
+ Evaluate copy and creative execution to ensure we’re achieving our strategic intent; coach others on developing and implementing effective messaging
+ Influence the product roadmap through close collaboration with product management.
