WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Here's what you can expect on a typical day:

Support development and testing of mainframe applications Perform enhancements and modifications to existing batch processing and online applications Work with Product owners to understand the requirements for new features. Work with Quality Assurance (QA) members to communicate testing impacts and fix the defects reported Work on reported defects, help triaging and finding out root cause and fix the defects with high quality

 

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

You'll have a Bachelor's degree OR equivalent. 10+ years of COBOL and mainframe application development, including JCL, VSAM, DB2, CICS, MVS utilities, and Mainframe SAS Strong Agile software development experience Experience with web services, API development, and object-oriented design (asset) Experience collaborating with remote/international teams Excellent communication skills and ability to proactively resolve issues Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail Able to work independently with minimal supervision; fast learner with strong interpersonal skills Ability to multitask, triage, and adapt in a fast-paced environment Unit testing experience
