Kforce has a client that is seeking a Principal Java/Kafka Developer in Westlake, TX. Responsibilities: * Principal Java/Kafka Developer will develop full-stack applications using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot * Build responsive Angular UI applications with NgRx and TypeScript * Design and implement REST APIs for financial services platforms * Develop and support data ingestion services using MQ/Kafka technologies * Work with relational and non-relational databases (Oracle, Redis, Aerospike, DynamoDB) * Integrate financial messaging protocols like FIX * Utilize AWS cloud technologies for scalable deployments * Apply DevOps practices using Jenkins, Concourse, Docker, and Git workflows * As a Principal Java/Kafka Developer, you will ensure modular, scalable platform design aligned with Agile methodologies * Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders * Continuously improve code quality and engineering practices in fast-paced environments
