Principal II Product Manager – Order Management
Team Description
The Travel Industry is undergoing a profound digital transformation phase. More airlines and other constituents in the ecosystem, are challenging historical conventions for how they define their product offerings, how they determine prices, and even how and where they choose to sell. Sabre is looking for a talented, experienced product manager for Order Management products who not only recognizes the disruptive forces but can help define and execute a vision of “what’s next?”.
The Principal II Product Manager in the Airline IT organization will be responsible to collaborate internally within the Sabre organization and externally with various customers, understand requirements, set the direction, and partner throughout the organization to increase adoption and engagement with SabreMosaic, with a focus on Order Management.
The role possesses a unique blend of business and customer engagement skills, a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality through execution as Sabre makes strategic bets on how we address emerging needs on Offer, Order, Settle, and Deliver.

The ideal candidate will be a pragmatic visionary that can translate business needs into technology solutions that scale technically and operationally. This role is responsible for bringing quality and enabling technical innovation, handling evolving / complex demands, including multiple projects with dependencies on other internal organizations. The Principal II Product Manager will draw on customer engagement feedback and their experience guiding technology businesses to set and deliver on extensive goals for SabreMosaic that increase the Order Management System adoption in the industry.
Daily collaboration with colleagues from Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, Commercial, and Finance to drive the overall success of the products with a customer lens.Drive continuous improvements and optimize the customer activation processes as SabreMosaic continues to scale, focusing on reducing time-to-value and enhancing customer satisfaction.Partner with other Product leaders to not only update Product roadmaps but also prioritize product backlog, working closely with the Product Development team to ensure roadmap execution.Lead cross-functional collaboration to ensure consistent and aligned internal updates tailored to various stakeholder audiencesFoster strong relationships with internal leaders/stakeholders across SabreOversee the end-to-end design of solutions that are functionally and technically sound considering market requirements and IT ecosystem with the aim to increase early adoption of SabreMosaic with various Airline IT customers through various POCs and MVPsEstablish and maintain a high level of customer engagement at various levels, positioning Sabre as an innovative player in the Offer, Order, Settle, Deliver space, with an emphasis on Order ManagementEvangelize internal and external audiences in the transition towards Order Management.Be a change agent that not only embraces but drives teams through change.

Must Have Skills:
Minimum 5 years recognized domain experience in the travel industry, preferably in either a customer facing and/or product management role.Is curious and comfortable diving into unfamiliar areas such as Offer and Order Management, being able to quickly become proficient.Must be effective working in a team-oriented, highly collaborative environment that is geographically distributed.Must have excellent English communication skills and be comfortable presenting or demonstrating technology in front of large groups of internal or external audiences.Has proven ability to create and deliver compelling and effective communications targeted to all levels of management, customers, vendors, etc.Nimble, flexible, and adaptable.
