As a Principal I, Software Engineering - Digital Health, you will be focusing on leading development teams, delivering scalable solutions, and fostering a collaborative and open-minded team culture. The role will be based out of Bangalore.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, and deployment of high-performance Java applications using Spring frameworks.
Collaborate with product managers, architects, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Guide and mentor a team of developers, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Drive code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the stack.
Promote a culture of openness, innovation, and continuous learning within the team.
Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:
7–8 years of hands-on experience in Java development.
Deep expertise in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, and related frameworks.
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and design patterns.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORM tools (e.g., Hibernate).
Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools.
Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
Strong communication and leadership abilities.
Good to have:
Experience in the e-commerce domain (e.g., order management, payment systems, product catalogs).
Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
Understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
Open mindset with a willingness to learn, adapt, and embrace new technologies and ideas.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s OR Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
