**Job Description** BAE Systems seeks a Principal Financial Analyst with exceptional analytic skills to join the Norfolk Maritime Solutions (NMS) Finance team. You will work closely with NMS Leadership team and Maritime Solutions (MS) Corporate Finance team as a trusted business partner to lead the financial planning and analysis for the NMS portfolio. You will provide data, analysis, and recommendations in support of financial decision making that drives sustainable, long-term growth for the MS business area. You will also work closely with program managers and cross-functional teams to drive execution and optimal performance. You will analyze and manage financial data to ensure contracts are within budget and on schedule. **In this job, you will:** + Coordinate Quarterly CFO Reviews, Quarterly Business Reviews, and Integrated Business Plan Reviews + Participate and manage month end financial reporting activities for NMS portfolio + Lead the Investment requirements development and expenditure tracking for the NMS portfolio + Manage and present financial data to internal and external customers + Forecast financial metrics, develop program baselines, manage Estimates-at-Complete (EACs), and closeout completed contracts + Supporting weekly, monthly, and quarterly program reporting requirements both internally and externally as required + Carry out miscellaneous financial analysis as required and continually assess and improving financial reporting processes to enhance efficiencies + Work independently in a cross-functional team environment **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** + Bachelor s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related degree with 6 years of work experience. Work experience considered instead of formal education. + Experience in program finance in the defense / aerospace industry + Proficiency in with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI) + Must have strong problem-solving, analytical and in-depth research skills + Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written + Be able to prioritize and self-manage a multitasked workload in a fast-paced environment + Ability to make decisions with sound judgment while complying with policies and procedures **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** + MBA, CPA, or other advanced business degree a plus + Possesses finance experience in the aerospace / defense industry + Familiarity with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) + Experience in Deltek, Cost Point, SAP, Cognos, or other equivalent accounting software + Experience with Hyperion and Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) + Experience with Cobra, MPM, or other equivalent software a plus **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $92180 - $156707 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
