\nThe Program Management Office (PMO) at Qualtrics is responsible for driving cross-functional program planning and execution at the highest level. We partner with leaders across the company to not only deliver major corporate milestones but also to monitor the overall health of the IT portfolio and ensure adherence to established project management standards on all IT delivery projects. Our team plays a critical role in identifying risks and dependencies early, enabling proactive decision-making to keep initiatives on track. By fostering collaboration and transparency, we help maximize the value and impact of our technology investments across the organization.\nHow You’ll Find Success

Demonstrates a systemic approach to problem-solving, addressing root causes within processes and governance frameworks rather than just symptoms on individual projects.\nInfluential: Effectively champions the value of the PMO and project management best practices across the organization. Influences without direct authority, persuading teams and leaders to adopt new processes, standards, and tools that enhance project delivery, transparency, and predictability.\nContinuous Improvement: Fosters a culture of continuous improvement within the project management discipline. Establishes feedback loops, such as post-project reviews and lessons learned sessions, to systematically refine project management methodologies, templates, and governance processes.\nAnalytic Rigor: Employs a data-driven approach to portfolio management. Defines and tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) for the portfolio—including budget variance, resource utilization, and on-time delivery rates—to provide objective insights, support prioritization decisions, and demonstrate the business impact of IT investments.\n\nHow You’ll Grow

\n\nExecute Strategic Portfolio Planning: Execute the strategic IT planning cycle to align with the organization's overarching Strategy & Governance function. You will translate high-level corporate objectives into a tangible IT portfolio roadmap with clear goals for delivery teams.\nBuild the Governance Framework: Build and mature the PMO framework that underpins the IT Governance function. You will develop and scale the standardized processes, tools, and best practices that enable consistent, high-quality project execution.\nProvide Portfolio Intelligence: Provide critical portfolio intelligence to leadership and the broader Strategy & Planning function. You will own the day-to-day tracking of portfolio health—including KPIs, risks, and budget—and deliver transparent reporting to enable informed, strategic decision-making.\nFacilitate Resource & Capacity Planning: Facilitate the resource and capacity planning process to support effective strategic governance. You will provide the necessary data and analysis to ensure the IT portfolio is aligned with financial plans and resource availability.\nDrive Process Improvement: Champion the continuous improvement of the Planning & Governance function. You will analyze portfolio performance and facilitate lessons-learned sessions to provide actionable recommendations for refining our methodologies and processes.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For On Your Resume
\n\nBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.\n7+ years of experience in IT management, with a focus on planning, resource management, and governance.\nDemonstrated experience in establishing or maturing a Project Management Office (PMO) and implementing portfolio management processes.\nStrong understanding of IT operations, including architecture, applications, and development methodology.\nDeep knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Hybrid) and their application in a business context.\nProven ability to develop and implement IT strategies that align with business objectives.\nExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.\nStrong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.\nProficiency with Portfolio and Project Management (PPM) software (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow PPM, Planview, etc.).\nProfessional certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional), PgMP (Program Management Professional), or similar is highly desirable.\n\nWhat You Should Know About This Team
