About the job
We’re looking for someone wants to take the lead in building simple and elegant solutions for the next generation of market research platforms. It’s the perfect role for someone who wants to work with the latest Microsoft technologies and is excited to build them into our platform’s roadmap. We’ll be looking to you to deliver the best solutions possible, blending hands-on engineering work with design and architectural activities. You’ll make a real impact on the future of our products.
Job Goals
Use deep engineering experience and fast learning skills to quickly solve technical challenges in diverse areas including software development (back-end, front-end, microservices, APIs), cloud architecture, data engineering and DevOps practices
Improve technical standards and support architectural design
Work to guarantee platform resilience and ensure effective recovery strategies, ensuring security compliance
Leverage AI techniques appropriately as part of our continual improvement philosophy
Mentor and coach more junior engineers.
Ideal Skills & Capabilities
Expertise in building resilient applications and services using Microsoft .NET Core and C#.
Experience of front-end programming with technologies such as Angular, React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS 3.0, materialize, and bootstrap frameworks.
Understanding of working with SQL Databases to construct complex queries and stored procedures.
Experience with data engineering techniques, Python and notebooks – advantageous
Strong practical understanding of cyber security threats and secure coding practices.
Comfortable working in container-based environments like Docker.
Ability to collaborate using Git.
Fluency in Synchronous/Asynchronous communication via Web APIs or Messaging patterns.
