Install, patch, and clone Oracle e-Business Suite Applications, Middleware and Database System for development, QA and Production environments.
Monitor system availability and performance of Oracle DBs using Oracle Grid Control/Enterprise manager. Install and configure Oracle Grid Control for monitoring DB and Host targets.
Set up High Availability, DR for Oracle Databases: Oracle grid infrastructure, cluster setup and high availability configuration.
Work with infrastructure and network teams for provisioning virtual machines,
Load Balancers, Network, and firewalls.
Performance tuning and troubleshooting in Oracle Database, SQL server and Middleware products.
Perform backup and recovery of Oracle Databases using RMAN.
Lead and Perform system performance characterization & stress testing efforts and performance tuning of systems related to Supply chain, Finance and transaction processing applications for Wholesale & Distribution industry.
Document complex processes and translate user needs into business functional requirements and solution work flows.
Maintain documentation on SOPs and architecture of Oracle systems that are supported.
Setup and Deploy Google, Oracle cloud native platform technologies and application deployments.
Develop and test disaster recovery procedures for critical business applications and systems.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer or Information Science, Information Technology, Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering or related field and 7 years of experience in supporting or managing Oracle databases & Oracle e-Business Suite Applications and with Real Application Cluster (RAC)/Automatic Storage Management (ASM). Total must include 5 years of experience in supporting or managing Oracle Engineered Systems Exadata and Weblogic Application Server, and 3 years of experience in supporting or managing Oracle Cloud Compute Instances, Big Data platforms: Datastax, BigQuery, Spark, Python.
