Job Summary

The role of Principal Engineer- DevOps, provides technical or infra leadership to effectively define, design, execute DevOps strategy and drive quality assurance for new and existing components of the PSS-GSS portfolio. 

What you'll be doing

Stay abreast of innovation and new technologies in DevOps, CI/CD, test automation and test methodologies.Establishes a performance monitoring and metrics-driven methodology that ensures speed and uptime of all applications and infrastructure are quantified, tracked and managed.Work closely with software engineers, Architect, Product Owner and other stakeholders throughout the full software development lifecycle starting from product concept till maintenance.Drive the initiative to simplify the developer and tester operational problems.

What you'll bring

Bachelor's degree in computer/ Electronics Engineering, Computer Science with 10 to 15 years of work experience in Digital SW development.Proactive and self-driven, possesses due sense of urgency                    Shall possess systems mindset and good problem-solving abilities. Working with multi-site teams, Quality conscious and Process & customer Oriented Self-motivated with good interpersonal skills  

Build & CI/CD:

Experience implementing and maintaining GitLab CI pipelines for multi-language repositoriesProficiency with Java/Maven, Go, C#, and VB.NET build processesUnderstanding of WixToolset for Windows installer packagingExperience with code signing processes, particularly EV certificate managementKnowledge of binary artifact management and versioning

Source Control Management:

Advanced Git knowledge including branching strategies, merge conflict resolution, and repository managementExperience managing code repositories across GitLab and GitHub platforms

Infrastructure & Configuration:

Strong Linux administration skills, particularly with RHEL environmentsWorking knowledge of Ansible for configuration management and automationAbility to implement multi-VM environments for load, testing and deploymentAbility to configure and troubleshoot VPNs and network gateways for secure access

Scripting & Automation:
